By booking any service with DynamoDogs, you agree to the following terms.

Bookings & Payments

  • Payment is required prior to service delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received.

  • Prices may be updated periodically; the price at the time of booking applies.

  • Payment for your session(s) means you agree with all terms and conditions listed.

  • Payment plans are available for selected services at the discretion of Dynamo Dogs.

  • All payment plans must be set up using automatic billing.

  • By entering a payment plan, you authorise Dynamo Dogs to charge your nominated card on the agreed dates.

Payment: Board & Train

  • For the Board & Train program, the standard payment structure is: 60% deposit required to secure your booking, 40% balance due at the program midpoint. The deposit is non-refundable and is required to confirm your place.

  • Your program will not commence until the deposit has been received.

  • The remaining balance must be paid by the scheduled due date.

  • Failure to make payment on time may result in:

    • suspension of services

    • cancellation of the program

    • forfeiture of your booking

  • Important:

    • Payments are not paused or cancelled due to early completion, behaviour progress, or client circumstances.

    • Refunds are not provided for change of mind or early withdrawal.

    • All prices are in AUD unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, Termination

  • Cancellations for training services require a minimum 48 hour notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $100 service fee.

  • Boarding and Board & Train services require a minimum 7 day notice for any cancellation or date change.

  • Each booking includes one complimentary reschedule. Further changes are charged at 50% of the session fee.

  • If at any point during the consultation or packages the environment becomes unsafe the trainer may choose to terminate the session based on the conditions, regardless of prior payment.

Service Delivery

  • Training sessions take place at the client’s home unless otherwise agreed.

  • Sessions run for up to 90 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring a safe training environment and the behaviours of their dog during sessions.

  • The trainer reserves the right to end a session early if a dog is in distress, unsafe, or unwell.

Equipment

  • Minimum requirement is a well-fitted collar with a metal buckle or closure and a standard flat leash without knots or tears or attachments, e.g. poop bag holders or bungee sections. Suitable materials include, but is not limited to: leather, gripper or fibertek/biothane.

  • No plastic, e.g. buckles etc

  • All equipment to be fitted correctly (not too loose or too tight)

  • If unsure what your current gear is, please send through photos so we can arrange alternate, safe equipment before our session if required.

Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must disclose any history of aggression, reactivity, bites, or behavioural concerns before the session.

  • Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations or titre testing, and this status must be disclosed prior to training.

  • Clients are expected to follow management and safety recommendations to ensure progress and reduce risk.

Media Use

  • Photos and videos may be taken during training sessions for use on social media, educational materials, or the business website.

  • If you do not wish for your dog to be featured, please notify us in writing before training begins.

Liability

  • All training is conducted with the dog’s welfare and safety in mind; however, participation is at the owner’s own risk.

  • DynamoDogs is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by the client’s dog during or outside of training sessions.

  • Owners maintain full responsibility for their dog’s behaviour at all times.

Results Disclaimer

  • Every dog is an individual, and outcomes depend on multiple factors including consistency, environment, training history, and the dog's emotional and physical health.

  • No specific results or timelines can be guaranteed.

  • Failure to practice homework or follow instructions will ensure you do not see results. If you are already seeing another dog trainer this must be disclosed before our session as the advice may be conflicting and therefor results may vary.

  • We can only make progress as quickly as the dog dictates, the results will vary depending on the time, consistency and dedication put in by owners/handlers. Hence, the more you practice the training and homework the more you will get out of it.

Required Participation

  • All sessions are attended and actively participated in, including in-person and/or online components.

  • Weekly homework is completed in line with the training plan.

  • Homework video calls are attended each week.

  • Progress videos are submitted as requested to track implementation.

  • Consistency between sessions: Training recommendations must be implemented throughout the week.

  • Safe management: All safety and management guidelines must be followed, e.g., equipment use, environmental controls.

  • Open communication: Concerns or difficulties must be raised promptly so adjustments can be made.

  • Use of recommended equipment: Any essential equipment needed for progress or safety must be used as instructed.

  • Supportive home environment: The dog must receive adequate rest, enrichment, decompression time, and appropriate structure as part of the program.

Failure to meet the above requirements may void eligibility for the guarantee, as progress depends on active participation and consistency.
